November Outing to Lady Elliot Island

Birdlife Australia member and Sunshine Coast birdlife regular, Jan England, has begun organising a trip to Lady Elliot Island, to occur in November.

The plan would be a group fly to the island for a multi-night stay from Hervey Bay.

This is an excellent location to enjoy a variety of nesting seabirds; Red-tailed Tropicbirds, terns, shearwaters plus non-nesting species such as terns and migratory waders. In addition to the birds there is excellent snorkelling.
