The Foundation for Culture and Arts (Eumundi) is launching it's newly established Sunshine Hinterland Writers' and Readers' Fund with An Evening With Australian Birds.
Featuring Tim Low, highly regarded biologist and award winning author of seven books including Where Song Began, Australia's Birds and How They Changed the World, in Conversation with Emeritus Professor Henry Nix AO (Life Member, former Councillor and President of Birds Australia).
Also Personalities of Australian Birds, a slideshow with Raoul Slater, Australia's most decorated wildlife photographer and co-author of Glimpses of Australian Birdlife.
Berkelouw Books are happy to attend this event and will be offering a collection of the authors' books for sale.

Mid Week Outing - Petrie Park, Nambour

The group at Petrie Park this morning. 17 people attended our mid week walk and 34 bird species were recorded..

Highlights included: Spectacled Monarch, Varied Triller, Rufous Fantail, Golden Whistler and Brown Thornbill.
Thanks to John Thompson and Vince Lee for leading the walk.
